"The Chin's fondness for people and refined charm makes it a breed apart from all others.
Adored for its beauty and elegance, the Chin is regarded as a very special ancient breed from the far east,
as enchanting as an ancient heirloom."

From the moment a tiny, trembling rescue jumped from her cage (at a shelter), directly onto my lap and cautiously looked up at me with her big brown eyes, she won my heart and I instantly became an enthusiast of the Japanese Spaniel (commonly known as the Chin).  On arriving home, my family was also won over and we quickly realized, as have so many Chin owners before us, that this is an adorable, extremely contagious breed.  Over the last decade we've been fortunate to have made contact with several knowledgable breeders, with their help our family has grown from that first tiny rescue into a little pack of wonderful adult dogs.

Today, our chin are our hobby and our passion.  We are proud to show, breed and proactively raise awareness of this wonderfully unique, cat like, little breed.  We are also proud to be a premier member in good standing with the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) as well as the Japanese Spaniel Club of Canada (JSCC) and the Japanese Spaniel Club of Southern Ontario.

Diligently promoting the breed and supporting owners in day to day life with a Chin, we welcome enquiries, visits to our home and are happy to share our experiences with anyone who is considering a Chin as a companion!  We will also, if at all possible, take in any Chin who needs to find a new home and help it to do so.
